Class 1 Driver
Pertemps Reading are looking for
Class 1 Drivers to work in the
Heathrow Airport area .
Various shift available : Days / Nights / Weekends / 4 x 4 off | Full-time / Part-time / Ad-hoc / Weekends / Monday to Sunday
£17.00 - £21.00 per hour
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for: - Ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods across various destinations
- Driving Expertise: Operating Class 1 vehicles with C+E licenses safely and responsibly.
- Route Planning: Planning and executing delivery routes with precision to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Load Management: Safely loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Compliance: Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you should possess the following :
- Valid Class 1 C+E driving license for a minimum of 2 years with CPC and Digi tachograph card.
- Five-year checkable work history
- Clean DBS Check (Desirable, not essential)
- No more than 6 points on the licence
- Level D / Cargo Operative Certificate (desirable not essential)
