Are you a CNC Turner who wants to earn up to £45400 as a base salary?
Do you want to work the following choice of shifts?
Day shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30am to 4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-12:30
OR
Days rotating every 2 weeks with nights Mon-Thurs 8:30pm to 7:00am

The Basics:
Job role: CNC Turner
Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
Pay for days: £16.16 to £19.20 per hour
Pay for nights: £17.49 to £20.53 per hour
Earnings of £45400 and upwards achievable
Overtime: Paid at 1.5
Location: Sandiacre
Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.
Role: Permanent
Overview:
Working in modern purpose built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Turner to join the business.
The company manufacture large components and small batches and the role will demand a true engineering thought process setting up the machinery and tooling with little room for error due to the one-offs and bespoke components that the machinist will be producing.
This role would suit a machinist who really wants to work in a role where a lot of thought will go into setting the machinery and tooling correctly.
The ideal CNC Turner with have as many of the following in order to strengthen application: (it is not a necessity to have the below but some experience in machining will be required)
Time served engineering apprenticeship.
Be able to program/edit online at the machine.
Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial
Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.
Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Any experience working on large scale milling machinery beneficial.
Worked with some of the following controls - Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, Heidenhain.
Both milling and turning considered
Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Ilkeston, Clay Cross, Hucknall, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
