Creative Engagement Manager

Reports to : The Fundraising and Development Manager, working with the leadership/production teams under guidance of the Artistic Director
Working Hours : 35 hours per week. Evening and weekend working as required will form an essential part of the role
Location : Cityside Retail & Leisure Park, Belfast
Salary : £23,500 - £27,500
Contract : Permanent, full time - a probationary period will apply
Expenses : Approved expenses and mileage reimbursed
Leave : 28 days annual leave pro rata, plus Bank Holidays. TOIL where relevant

Job Role

This job role is focused on planning, organising and coordinating a range of projects, programme delivery and the front of house management that will support Cahoots’ growth and the delivery of exciting original work for young audiences and families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide effective operational and project support to the Cahoots Management Team.
• Manage the daily administrative functions of Cahoots, its productions, tours and programmes.
• Source, book and communicate travel plans, accommodation and hospitality for visiting artists and company members.
• Manage, administrate and operate the company's ticketing system producing and analysing reports as required.
• Contribute in the set up and organisation of the venue ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for audiences.
• Act as an audience host during production runs.
• Manage a team of volunteer audience hosts and front line staff delivering an efficient and effective service.
• Ensure high quality customer care in all front of house operations.
• Develop and maintain databases of artists, audiences and feedback in line with GDPR regulations.
• Identify suitable family/school/community group audiences, contact, liaise with and make arrangements for their visit using telephone/online correspondence.
• Produce written copy for promotional materials, invitations, programmes etc proofing materials as required.
• Adhere to and support the implementation of company policies and procedures including safeguarding, equality, health & safety, data protection and all others in place.

The responsibilities outlined above give a broad outline of the position, however all Cahoots team members are expected to participate actively in the company, and opportunities will arise for you to collaborate with others across the organisation. Personal Specification

We are actively seeking candidates from the public or private sectors who can bring professionally transferable business management and programme/project coordination skills to help Cahoots in its mission to grow and scale its productions working with our partners around the world. We are seeking a passionate, multifaceted individual, who is highly motivated and committed to creating magical experiences for young people and excited by the opportunity of collaborating as part of a small, dedicated team.

Essential Criteria :

• Excellent planning and administrative skills with great attention to detail and quality
• The ability to work to schedules and deadlines
• High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• High level of computer and internet literacy
• Proven ability to contribute effectively to a small team and be self-motivated
• Resourceful and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise a varied workload
• Creative problem solver and confident decision maker
• Experience in delivering excellence in a public facing capacity
• Enthusiasm for the arts, in particular theatre for young audiences

Desirable Criteria :

• Working knowledge of ticketing system management and operations
• Understanding/experience in using Apple Mac systems
• Full Clean Driving Licence
