Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our IT team at our Appleton site. 

As Project Delivery Manager you will be proactive and technically-minded as you will be working with customers and internal clients to understand their requirements, translating them to best in class technology solutions. You will also work with our third party solution providers to build detailed development scope documents, translating customer and internal business requirements into a working software solution.

As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the site, and will report directly to the site Business Systems Manager.

This is a full time, permanent position Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.

Job responsibilities of Project Delivery Manager include:

• Lead meetings for any new business projects which require development within current applications
• Understand business project needs to build the correct scope for the project
• Manage and maintain the development project plan, updating the business on a regular basis with progress
• Manage issue logs, risk registers, benefits documents and any other required documentation associated with the various projects
• Ensure milestones are met and challenges are managed and reported to the business within any given project
• Assist with the production of testing plans and work closely with the BAU Support team and Business Analysts within the team
• Work within and manage budget constraints
• Produce business KPI’s to measure improvement and performance

Qualifications

To apply for the role of Project Delivery Manager , you will possess the following skills, experiences and

qualifications

:

• Prior experience using GTS and other system solutions [GTS essential, MS Excel essential, Microlise preferable, Visio advantageous]
• A proven track record of managing and delivering business projects
• Previous experience of leading large teams and working directly through one or more subordinates, with the ability to manage staff and their improvement
• An overall understanding of the various business sectors i.e. customer services, planning, operations, etc would be a great benefit
• The ability to work on your own initiative and be detail conscious
• Effective communication skills with strong attention to detail
