Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $145,985.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information Pendle Hill Public School has a committed staff and strong programs to support inclusion of its diverse multicultural community. School priorities include student growth and attainment, and well-being initiatives to support participation and engagement. The school has an enrolment of 348 students and 82% of students from a non-English speaking background. The school has an early intervention support class and two multi-categorical support classes. Additionally the school has a preschool which provides a quality early learning environment for students. The school has recently undergone major capital works and a majority of classroom spaces are open plan and support collaborative teaching and learning.

Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Primary (K-6), with a capacity to contribute to extra curricular programs in areas such as music and sport.  

Capacity to design and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs in literacy and numeracy in a school  community with high percentage of EAL/D learners. 

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a whole school team and build positive relationships with students, staff and community.  

Commitment to whole school positive well-being programs with a strong emphasis on effective classroom practice and behaviour management to engage and support a diverse range of students. 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
