Job Title: Solution Architect Professional

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance ( An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. In your role as a Solutions Architect Professional, you’ll bring your technical expertise to bear on interesting and challenging problems within Cyber Security. You will solve real-word problems for customers and deliver solutions in an agile manner and ensure we build exactly what they need to time/cost/quality. The solutions you create will utilise the latest technologies, demonstrate innovation and thought leadership, and provide brilliant outcomes for customers.
What you’ll do:
Assist with technical decisions that influence the success of projects and team objectives
Perform a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts
Participate in external activities related to own specialism, e.g. attending technical conferences, knowledge sharing
Ensure BT Security reputation is upheld with customers and suppliers in delivery of work packages
Resolving incidents and service requests in line with SLAs to enable continued system operation
Identifies and communicates opportunities that assist with setting technical direction, with respect to best practice for domains of operation
What you'll bring:
Service management experience within the IT industry
Ability to take responsibility, ownership and autonomy of delegated platform operations and deliverables
Cisco CCND and CCNP (R&S and Security) Certified
Cisco Nexus Data Centre design.
Cisco Routing and Switching. BGP, DMVPN,
You might even have:
Networking
Working with firewalls, routers & switches
Virtualisation/VX-LAN a plus
