Job description
Morestarts are pleased to be working with a well-established manufacturing business in Alfreton.
We are looking for a Plater/Fabricator to join their existing team, this is a perfect opportunity for somebody who want's long-term, secure employment. Staff turnover is low in this company for good reason.
The placeholder MUST have several years Plating experience. Working from complex technical drawings and be involved in the whole process of fabricating parts and components for specialist equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Plating/Fabricating unique parts for a range of equipment
- Welding (MIG, TIG and sometimes Stick)
- Inspecting and signing off work.
- Reading and working from complex technical drawings
Requirements:
- Apprentice Trained (desirable)
- Minimum 4-5 years relevant plating experience
- Must have previously fabricated parts for equipment
- Drivers License
Salary & Shifts:
- £14ph-£16ph - Client is willing to pay considerably higher for exceptional candidates.
- Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm
- Fridays, 7am - 12pm
- 40 hours a week
- Regular overtime available
