Software Engineer| Government client | SC Clearance required | up to £50k + bonus + fully company benefits | Hybrid working, 2/3 days a week on site | Yeovil office Our government/ Defence client are seeking Software Engineers to Join their team based in Yeovil. Due to the global instability, our countries defence and cyber security is fundamentally important and you will be play a huge part on some exciting projects contributing to this. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this role and you need to have eligibility for SC clearance to be considered. As the Software Engineer , you should bring experience with as much of the below as possible (its not essential to have everything):
- This team is cross domain having a presence in 3 major languages Java, C++ and C# . So they are keen to see candidates from any of these backgrounds, if you have experience in one and were keen to pick up on any of the other languages they are very keen on cross training and allow for personal development to learn and work with these.
- They work on both Linux and Windows platforms along with Azure and AWS cloud. So if you can bring any exposure to services in the cloud that would be great or have a foundation knowledge with willingess to learn / work on the cloud
- Have strong communication skills, be comfortable working with and directly dealing stakeholders / senior members of the team
The
