Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Sanctions VP are to:
- To support the Head of EMEA Sanctions Controls and Investigations with oversight and handling of real time investigations, ensuring that the team is functioning efficiently to ensure cases are reviewed in a timely manner.
- To deputise for the Head of EMEA Sanctions Controls and Investigations.
- To act as an escalation point for Sanctions Controls and Investigations AVPs on high risk investigations.
- To review, assess and provide feedback and 4 eyes approval on assessments undertaken by Sanctions Controls and Investigations AVPs.
- To oversee all regulatory and policy breach investigations, escalating to the EMEA Head of Sanctions.
- To provide advice and guidance on all the controls related to sanctions screening and conduct assurance testing on EMEA's approach to sanctions screening.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sanctions VP will have:
- Previous sanctions knowledge
- Knowledge of financial crime systems (ideally Fircosoft)
- Good oversight knowledge
