We are looking for an experienced
Mental Healthcare Assistant to work within a specialist eating disorder inpatient unit in Darlington, County Durham.
The service provides individual care for adults with eating disorders, in a specially designed environment.
This role is
fully flexible allowing you to work around any commitments, promoting a
healthy work life balance .
SPECIALISM: Eating Disorders
START DATE: Immediate/ASAP
SHIFT PATTERNS : Long Days 0720-2000, Nights 1920-0800
The Role: - Provide direct care and support to patients with eating disorders, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assisting qualified nursing staff where necessary.
- Offer empathetic listening and emotional support to patients.
The Person - 12 months minimum experience working as a Mental Healthcare Assistant in a residential or inpatient setting, experience working with eating disorders is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
