Allied and Clinical are looking for experienced scrub nurses/ODP for our NHS & Private clients across Scotland

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the theatre setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures and ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
- Monitor patients during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Follow infection prevention control protocols to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ophthalmology experience would be a huge advantage.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care principles.
- Ability to analyze situations and make critical decisions quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in infection prevention control measures and maintaining a sterile environment.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid NMC registration
- Minimum of 1 years experience as a scrub nurse in either the NHS or private sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to work under pressure.
- Live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
