This modern practice in Exeter is looking for an experienced Optical Manager, either (Qualified or non-qualified) to motivate and lead a small team.
TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS OPTICAL MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE.
Your role will be split between dispensing and managing a small team of experienced optical assistants and a couple of resident Optometrists. You’ll ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. Leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most – delivering the highest standards of professionalism and growing a new business.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice ManagerThe combined role will mean you’re accountable for the KPI’s and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues but you’ll be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives, as well as, marketing your practice effectively to ensure the store goes from strength to strength.
Requirements of the Optical Practice ManagerYou will have a friendly and personable demeanor and a strong personal work ethic, with a customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike. It’s essential you have previous managerial experience and ideally have a proven track record of growing a practice year on year.
