We are excited to help our client recruit a dynamic and dedicated physiatrist to become an integral part of their expanding team in New England. As a dedicated SNF physiatrist, you’ll play a pivotal role by offering your expertise in physiatry to our affiliated skilled rehabilitation facilities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex physiatric-related medical conditions in the SNF and LTC population.
- Performing specialized procedures such as large joint injections or botox.
- Travelling to our affiliated facilities, dedicating one day per week to each facility.
- Providing oversight and support to our team of autonomous APPs.
- Taking on minimal administrative duties including attending monthly quarterly meetings, occasionally conducting an in-service for staff, and liaising with our referring facilities to educate about the physiatry programs we offer at these facilities.
Position Overview:
- Average daily workload: Approximately 6 hours.
- Patient Interaction: Seeing 16-20 patients daily, with rounds typically consuming 2-3 hours.
- Flexibility: Notes may be completed from home.
- Compensation: Estimated total compensation $300,000, which includes a $250k base salary plus easily achievable bonus based on productivity, including a directorship stipend for administrative tasks and support to our team of APPs.
