Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager
Location: Cambridge
Day Rate: £300 - £400 per day (inside IR35)
Duration: 8 Months
Job Summary:
Capstone have partnered with a leading, Global real estate consultancy, who are looking to hire an exceptional Regional Facilities Manager on an interim basis. As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient operation and maintenance of multiple Client's sites within EMEA region. You will ensure that all buildings and facilities meet established standards of safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. You will collaborate with Client's employees, property owners, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement facilities maintenance strategies that align with business objectives. Provide easy, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and productive customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facility Operations Management:
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and procedures to ensure that all properties are operating efficiently and within budget.
- Oversee and manage daily operations, including building maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Implement preventive maintenance practices to minimize breakdowns and ensure the longevity of building systems and equipment.
- Respond to facilities-related requests from Client's personnel through Corrigo Work Orders in professional, patient, timely and knowledgeable manner.
- Ensure that Corrigo WOs response time is always within SLA requirements.
- Monitor and manage facility service contracts to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with property owners, tenants, and vendors to resolve any facilities-related issues promptly.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the annual facilities budget for each property within the EMEA region.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce operational expenses while maintaining service quality.
- Review and approve invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor services.
- Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Develop understanding of our client's business, strategies, policies & procedures which allows us to provide a consistent comprehensive level of service.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols. Collaborate with Client's EHS Team.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks or hazards.
- Ensure that proper documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance purposes.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration with others:
- Train, motivate, and manage a team of direct reports within EMEA region.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality standards and promote professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication.
- Work closely and supports Project Management, Occupancy Planning and other account-based service lines.
- Support IFM Global Account Lead and Account Management Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid experience in facility management, preferably overseeing multiple properties or sites.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations and codes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams remotely.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
