Head of Financial Compliance

Salary: up to £65,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, hybrid working available
Location: Newquay
Contract: Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experience Head of Finance to join our clients team based in Newquay.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial Compliance: Oversight of end-to-end finance operations processes and controls, Statutory Reporting, Transfer Pricing and Taxation, Royalty Reporting, VAT, and Banking facilities.
• Working Capital Management: Efficient handling of working capital, ensuring optimal utilisation.
• Treasury: Managing treasury functions, including monitoring and optimising cash flow.
• Sales & Purchase Ledger Management: Oversight of sales and purchase ledger activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

• Prior experience in a comparable position
• Proficient in utilising Microsoft Office suite and proficient in the use of large ERP accounting software
• Exceptional academic background and strong interpersonal skills
• Holder of a formal accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Demonstrated capability to analyse numerical and various data sources, with the ability to formulate recommendations based on the analysis
