Quality Assurance Team Leader / Fresh Produce / Cambs / Suffolk border

We are working with a leading name in fresh produce, committed to operational excellence and quality assurance. We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead their Quality Assurance Team working Wednesday 6.00 -14.00 and Thursday - Saturday 6.00 - 18.00.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive operational excellence by optimising QMS Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
Lead a high-performance QA Team, fostering a culture of quality and safety.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and legality standards through internal audits and process improvements.
Manage pesticide and microbiological testing schedules to uphold product quality.
Mentor and develop the QA Team, promoting continuous improvement and a customer-first culture.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA role within the fresh produce industry (2 years desirable).
Qualifications in Internal Auditing and HACCP Level 1 (HACCP Level 2 desirable).
Proficiency in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; experience with Navision and Teams preferred.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated behaviours aligned with business core values and behaviours.
