Job description

Job Title: KS3/4 Tutor Location:

South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £25 Per hour

We are currently seeking a KS3/4 Tutor to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing educational support to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The role is temporary and expected to work part-time hours.
- Deliver tailored lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at Key Stage 3 and 4 level
- Ability to differentiate teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Passion for education and helping students succeed
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles

This role is based in Leatherhead, Surrey. The working hours are part-time, with flexibility required to meet student needs. The tutor will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
