About The Role

Job Overview

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our business objectives through the provision and interpretation of key commercial management information. You will gain exposure to multiple areas of a rapidly growing business and have the unique opportunity to work closely with and learn from the CEO and Finance Director.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

  1. Support the day-to-day management of the accounts function

  2. Oversee the month end process for various entities

  3. Manage the implementation of a new accounting system

  4. Manage and maintain an effective credit control function

  5. Produce monthly and quarterly reporting for the group

  6. Assist in consolidation of group financials and preparation of budgets, forecasts etc

  7. Analysing Commercial P&L and Balance sheet with ownership of specific P&L lines

  8. Cashflow forecasting

  9. Support the integration of acquisitions and new business units

  10. Prepare and submit applications for government funding

  11. Documentation of accounting processes and policies

  12. Work collaboratively with senior management

  13. Monitoring Capex and manage cost control across operations

  14. Support in various head office projects

  15. Managing all insurance claims for the Group

  16. Stay updated on legislative and regulatory developments in the care industry

    Person Specification

  17. Fully qualified accountant

  18. Ability to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively with peers

  19. Experience of Microsoft dynamics beneficial but not essential

  20. Previous experience of managing a team

  21. Interest in systems and reporting with the confidence to own, create and improve processes

  22. Experience of managing finance projects

  23. Highly numerate + analytical, with good attention to detail

  24. Deadline orientated

  25. Ambitious and keen to make an impact.
