The County Council’s planning and research team is seeking someone to join our land supply monitoring team. If you have a genuine interest in data collection and analysis, this role is a chance to research land use change across the County. We are looking for a new team member with data handling and IT skills, able to monitor and record information about housebuilding progress. This role involves travel around Hampshire throughout Feb-April but involves home-based working the majority of the time (with the option for office-based if preferred). The role is advertised on a temporary basis to resource the 2024-25 monitoring period. You will collate data on housebuilding to help monitor and forecast changes in Hampshire’s communities. With development and training, the successful candidate will be required to work independently and meet deadlines. This role will suit someone with an eye for detail and interest in the built environment.
This opportunity is advertised as full-time; however, we are also happy to consider applications from people wanting to work flexibly.
