Job description

We are currently recruiting for a cover teacher, on behalf of a fantastic SEN school in Ipswich.

Role:

The position will be working with pupils from Key Stage 2-4, who have mild and complex educational needs.

You will be responsible for developing the educational plans and lessons in line with the varying needs of the pupils.

The role will also entail managing a small team of TAs who will be supporting a class of around 8-10 pupils.

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience of working with pupils at KS2-KS4 level
• Knowledge of working with pupils with special educational needs
• Passion for working with young people
• Great communication skills
• Ability to manage a small team of TAs
