Business System Analyst

Livingstone, Scotland

Under general supervision, designing, creating and supporting apps using Low Code No Code tool and provide development Information Technology (IT) support to end-users, to restore service and / or identify and correct core problem.

A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

The goal is to design, develop, build and maintain applications to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Designs, analyzes, programs, debugs, and maintains system/web enhancements and/or new products.
• Responsible for managing requirements and all activities for a specific IQVIA product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life, ensuring quality standards are met and that the product/s support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
• Details the product specs, prioritizes and translates requirements to story points, and manages engineering backlog.
• Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
• Manages sprint backlog, including planning, prioritization, grooming and readiness.
• Works collaboratively with users, designers and engineers to solution features and slice work into vertical stories.
• Ensures stories collectively result in useable software that meets the needs of the users.
• Evaluates and prioritize scope trade-offs as new work emerges.
• Facilitates effective defect management.
• Communicates status and manages stakeholder expectations when required.

Requirements and skills

• Ability to advise, support and implement low code no code applications using various technology solutions such as SQL, Windows Server, Office 365, SharePoint, SFTP, API.
• Understand the technical aspects of IT systems and infrastructure. This includes knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and security.
• Working knowledge of industry standards with regards to system and network administration. Intermediate.
• Understanding of ITIL standards, Experience of PC software (Microsoft operating systems and applications suites, email systems, etc.) within a network environment.
• Working knowledge of Change Management and Ticketing Process.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to understand, interpret and present technical and non-technical information to stakeholders.
