Puro Accounting are delighted to be supporting an independent firm of business and insolvency advisers based in Cork. Due to the ongoing growth, our client is now recruiting an audit senior to join the team!
The role: - Prepare client accounts in accordance with accounting standards using client records
- Compile client audit files adhering to auditing standards
- Prepare client tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Draft financial reports as needed for client assignments
- Provide technical training to junior staff on accounts preparation, auditing, and taxation
About you: - Demonstrated proficiency in a similar role with both professional and technical expertise
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- Proficient understanding of Audit and Accounting standards and legislation,
- Experienced in conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for effectively communicating findings to stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in audit procedures
- Proficiency in using audit software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead audit teams when necessary
