This role would suit someone with a computational chemistry background and strong programming skills and an interest in the programming side of computational chemistry, as well as someone personable to would enjoy interacting with customers!
The role: Computational Chemist - Workflow Development
Location: UK- this is primarily home-based, with ability to travel to London to meet up with the team around once a week.
The role:
- Engage with customers, providing scientific support and developing tailored workflows.
- Develop customizable Python workflows to meet the unique needs of customers.
- Assist customers with use of the molecular design platform.
- Collaborate with top companies including big pharma.
- Conduct independent research and publish scientific papers.
Your profile:
- PhD in Computational Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Industry experience in drug discovery is ideal, or post doctoral experience.
- Experience in structure-based drug design and computational modelling workflows.
- Strong python development.
- Experience in computational techniques in drug discovery such as virtual screening, molecular dynamics.
- An understanding of the commercial drug discovery process.
