Job description
Boots are seeking a patient focused Pharmacist to join our dedicated pharmacy team at our fantastic store on Courtney Street in Newton Abbot.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within a busy service lead store; you will have the support of a team of experienced ACT's, dispensers and pharmacy advisors, as well as a strong retail management support team and a dedicated Area Manager and Head of Stores
This position comes with the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification, fully funded by Boots!
We will also consider newly qualified pharmacists for this position.
Pharmacy Opening Times for This Store are:
Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm
Sunday - 10am - 4pm
Although this is advertised as a full-time opportunity, part-time is always considered

What you need: To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help others feel good. In addition you will:
- Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
- Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
- Have a love of working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
- Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
- Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
