Job description

Account Director, Content Marketing Agency, Bath, Hybrid Working, B2B Clients (Management Consultancy). Up to £50,000 plus profit share bonus.

We’re looking for a phenomenal Marketing Account Director who can lead a team of driven marketeers to help our clients shape and execute their content marketing visions.

You will be an experienced senior marketer with agency experience at Account Director level, comfortable with managing a team and working with senior level client leads

We’re the Bath based content marketing agency that’s shaking up the tired and grey management consulting industry. We have an enviable roster of clients, predominately based in London and across the UK. We have big ambitions and we’re looking for someone who wants to help play a key part in growing our company.

Bombarding clients with brand ads and spending £10,000s on sponsorships stopped working years ago. Marketing in 2024 is about giving to receive, understanding your clients’ needs and then giving them great content that makes them come to you. So we do exactly that, for disruptive consultancies that want to take their business to the next level. We’re always on the lookout for the next content marketing innovation, and we actively use video, podcasts and everything you’d expect in the B2C world to help our B2B clients market successfully.

About You:

• You’ll be an exceptional team leader, able to support, excite and motivate your team. We have a very flat structure at Create Engage and you’ll be expected to lead from the front, without relying on hierarchy.
• Your marketing capability will be second to none. You will have a strong understanding of what effective content marketing looks like and how to bring that to life for complex businesses.
• You’ll be given a huge amount of responsibility and accountability. We know you’re great at what you do and we will give you everything you need to be successful, for your career, for Create Engage and for our clients
• In this role you'll be managing a team of 2 Senior Marketing Managers and 1 Junior Marketing Manager, working directly with the CEOs and marketing teams of 5 - 6 clients.
• As a rapidly growing agency we're looking for someone who is excited by the idea of getting stuck in and being a big part of what we're building. If you're tired of being a small cog in a huge machine, here's your chance to make the change you want.
• The work we do is exciting, dynamic and fast paced. You will be expected to take this in your stride and be able to show a track record of delivering in this type of environment.
• You will take ambiguity, turn it in to a solid plan and then work with the team to deliver on that plan – doing so for multiple clients, all at the same time.
