Job description
SF Recruitment are supporting a leading Manufacturing business in Cannock in recruiting for an Assistant Buyer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Salary: Up too £30k (depending on experience) with a bonus scheme and excellent career development opportunities!
Hours: Monday - Friday (07:30 - 16:30)
The Role:
-As the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for dealing with suppliers, managing pricing, expediting and managing purchase orders and deliveries.
-Manage Supplier relationships and improve supplier performance for your category.
-Manage MRP system for your category to ensure products are in stock.
-Maintain control of prices and new ways of reducing costs.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Assistant Buyer, you will have the following:
-Experience within a Assistant Buyer/ Junior Buyer role.
-Excellent Excel Skills.
-Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
-Desire to develop a career with Procurement.
