Job description
Exmouth Sea Cadets provides exciting opportunities for youngsters between the ages of 9 and 17 to learn new skills - both on and off the water. We are in need of volunteers to join our Unit Management Team.
What will you be doing?Since becoming Chair in 2020, I have transitioned the UMT to operate using digital facilities as much as practicable. However, I am a semi-retired civil/structural engineer and my digital skills are a secondary skill set! Although we would welcome anyone who would like to join our Management Team, we would really benefit from someone with an I.T. background to manage and develop this side of our operation.

What difference will you make?The ability to be able to deal with our management responsibilities digitally makes life very much easier for our management team - or should do! Although we feel that we have the basics set up, we are not entirely confident that this is currently as good as it could be, nor that we are doing things in the most efficient manner. Our current team is very small - only 3 members plus the CO, and we are very stretched given the essential tasks that are necessary to properly run the cadet unit.
