Hardware QA Manager ( Audio & MIDI Technology)
Based : High Wycombe / Hybrid (min 2-3 days a week in the office)
Term : Permanent, Full time

As part of a reorganization of our QA Team, we are hiring into two new management roles: Software QA Manager, and this role – Hardware QA Manager. We are looking for the right people to help lead and manage our QA Team, as they work to ensure that our future hardware and software products meet our customers’ quality expectations. Please note, knowledge of music production, audio interfaces, DAWs etc is essential for this role.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Head of QA, and working as part of the QA Leadership Team, you will be leading and managing a team of (currently) 8 direct and indirect reports, ranging from interns to experienced Engineers.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all QA activities required to support our hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) Programme across both the Focusrite and Novation brands.
You will undertake resource planning to support the roadmap, as well as providing technical guidance and support to your team. You will also empower every member of your team to take ownership of their professional development, helping them to achieve what they’re looking to at Focusrite.
As part of this role, you will be engaging with a number of key stakeholders: Product and Project Managers, Hardware, Software and Firmware Developers, as well as other Engineering Managers.
