Job Role: Social Worker(Adults) in Somerset
Somerset are looking for a full time social worker with previous adult safeguarding experience to join the service to support us to fulfil our safeguarding adult duties. To support our triage decision making and to undertake section 42 enquiries, produce protection plans, and to work directly with people in Somerset who are experiencing, or at risk of, abuse or neglect. The applicant will be knowledgeable about adult safeguarding and confident in record keeping and risk management.
As a Social worker you must have a degree in Social work with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience and passed your AYSE, experience in an NHS Establishment or a local authority is desirable.
To act in accordance with SWE registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.
To provide professional Social work assessments to support the commissioning process in line with care management and continuing care.
Employers will be keen to see that you have a friendly and caring attitude, and understand and respect people who need healthcare support.
Previous experience and/or qualifications in Social work are essential to apply for this role.
