SITE MANAGER
Reporting directly to the Area Manager
- The Site Manager will be the primary day to day person on site and the first point of contact for all parties.
- The maintenance of a high standard cleaning service on site, with particular emphasis on client satisfaction.
- The supervision and motivation of all Company employees working on site.
- The maintenance of good relationships with all employees and visitors at on site.
- The assistance to the Area manager to the sites that surrounds the main site.
- The position requires Drivers Licence, and it might need to move equipment/staff between the sites that surrounds the main site.
MAIN DUTIES: (Not necessarily in order of importance)
- New Contracts
- Assist Area Manager in start-up procedures including client liaison, ordering of stores/equipment, and putting in place all necessary systems.
- Client liaison If instructed by Area Manager
- Finance
- Ensure that the budget is adhered to, and levels of expenditure are within the set targets.
- Ensure that the client has sufficient resources.
- Quality
- Adhere to the Company's quality management system.
- Personnel
- Be responsible for the motivation, discipline, safety, and general welfare of all cleaning operatives.
- Promote sound industrial relations.
- Attend meetings as requested by Area Manager.
- Ensure that client site staff adhere to the Company's system and procedures as laid down in relevant documentation.
- Assist the Area Manager, to ensure that the training and development of all on site staff is carried out and that training plans and programmes are properly installed.
- In accordance with Company guidelines, monitor all Health & Safety procedures and practices.
- Provide support for on-site cleaning teams.
- Adhere to the Company's Equality & Diversity policy.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory and Company practices and procedures regarding employment and health and safety legislation.
- Customer Relations
- Maintain regular and direct contact with Key personnel.
- Respond quickly to complaints.
- Other duties as directed by the Area Manager
- Carry out any other duties as required from time to time by the Company.

LIMITS OF AUTHORITY
Discipline: Must inform Area Manager prior to disciplinary/ termination action for Contract management.
KNOWLEDGE
Education: Of GCSE/CSE/O Level Standard English and Maths.
Experience
Extensive experience in managing cleaning staff.
Experience in customer liaison
