Job description

Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Operations Engineer. The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacturing of a wide range of products derived from blood plasma. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our complex pharmaceutical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine calibration of utility, process, and laboratory instrumentation.
• Gain experience in calibrating various equipment, including pressure, temperature, flow, pH, UV, conductivity, level, and weight sensors.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and development of complex pharmaceutical equipment.
• Undertake fault finding/repair and calibration on a wide range of equipment, including routine preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Key Skills and Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Experience in a technical environment, particularly with calibration and instrumentation.
• Access to personal transportation due to location and shift work requirements.
