KS2 Teacher Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be an amiable KS2 Teacher who has a demonstrable track record of 'Good' or better teaching and ideally at least 2 or 3 years of teaching experience. You will have the ability to show a track record of delivering creative lessons and seize this opportunity with enthusiasm and energy. Ideally, the school need a teacher who is able to inspire their class with fun and interactive lessons. You will provide a deep understanding of the different approaches to teaching and learning, with the skill to know which method will achieve the best results.
About the KS2 Teacher Role
This KS2 Teacher position involves taking over a particular class within KS2 based on demand within the school and you will be delivering the school's inclusive ethos. Additional responsibilities and TLR are on offer for Phase or Subject Leader positions and the school is eager to offer all teachers a place on their training and CPD plan. Day-to-day, you will be receiving support and guidance from a Headteacher who has been described as dedicated and developing your teaching practice through instruction of a talented Parallel teacher. A creative teaching approach runs through this school, allowing for true innovation whilst teaching responsibly. This is a well resourced school so you can expect to experience working with a host of teaching tools which include interactive and outdoor learning areas. Teaching Assistants who, themselves, are preparing for teacher training are on hand for all members of staff.
