Principal Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Tutor of English and Maths to join the staff team at one of our Specialist Provision Schools based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The full-time role will provide cover 5 days per week for Post-16 SEN Students, delivering high-quality, person-centred education that empowers students to reach their full potential. As a Maths and English Tutor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of all students, helping them develop essential numeracy and literacy skills in a nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEND, as well as a teaching qualification (PGCE, PTLLS, or equivalent). You will have the ability to provide person-centred care and education to students with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. You must be able to work as part of the curriculum team to ensure high standards, meeting the expectations and guidelines of the placing authorities and inspectorates.

You will be responsible for assessment and evaluation of students, as well as recording their progress and achievements against their learning targets using a MIS system. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing individualised lesson plans to address the specific needs and learning styles of our students. You must collaborate with other members of the curriculum team and support staff to create integrated learning experiences and support students' overall development.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role.
