On Demand Division
The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company's main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO's and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.
Objective:
The Supply Chain Specialist will work alongside the UK Buying Lead to protect and grow the procurement margin for Durbin PLC. The Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role participating in cross-functional teams to support global supplier evaluation and selection to optimise company-wide procurement initiatives within the assigned category. Some flexibility is required as the role may change in line with the needs of the business as the marketplace evolves.
The successful individual will be results oriented with a proven track record delivering solutions and will bring a positive attitude. Communication skills, an ability to influence a variety of colleagues and the capability to drive value from analytics is essential. Successful candidates must be able work to effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines
