Job Description
- Implement and manage sustainable practices across the organisation
- Work alongside all departments to minimise environmental impact
- Coordinate sustainability training for staff and volunteers
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives
- Stay updated on relevant environmental legislation and ensure compliance
- Maintain positive relationships with external sustainability partners
- Contribute to the development of the organisation's sustainability strategy
- Represent the organisation at sustainability events and conferences
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sustainability Officer should have:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field
- Experience in managing sustainability initiatives
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation
- Experience in delivering sustainability training
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and external partners
- Passion for promoting sustainable practices and making a positive impact
