About Our Client
A great opportunity for a Buyer to join a fast paced, fun and creative wholesaler. They import a product range of product from Homeware, Stationary, Health & Beauty and lots more. As a business, they sell into the discounters, independents as well as eBay & amazon sellers. Due to this they are seeking an to add to business growth they are seeking to add to their Buying team.
Job Description
- Identify, source and manage a range of garden and Christmas products
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating best prices
- Research and predict market trends, adjusting product range accordingly
- Coordinate with the marketing team to promote products
- Ensure all products comply with relevant safety and quality standards
- Work within budgets while aiming to increase profitability
- Manage stock levels and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve company objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
- Experience in a retail buying role, ideally within the Garden and Christmas department
- Strong negotiation skills and a good eye for detail
- Knowledge of consumer trends and market conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
