Site Manager
Daventry
Building & Construction
£50,000 - £60,000 plus car, bonus & package
Are you interested in working for one of the most successful, independently owned building contractors in the Midlands?
We're after a Site Manager like you, who enjoys taking the reigns over a project and being able to focus on doing the do as opposed to paperwork and politics. This is very much a position where you'll have ownership over the delivery of a project and the ability to make your own decisions. The hiring company are an inclusive employer, who want to empower you with all the tools you need to make decisions quickly for the benefit of the project and client. The first project you'll work on will be a £30m industrial unit in Kettering where you'll be site lead reporting into the operational management team.
The business you'll be joining are one of the UK leaders in industrial building. They're an independently owned main contractor with a turnover of £200m. The projects you can expect to work on will range from £5m to £50m in value so this project starting will be on the larger side. You'll have genuine opportunity for progression here, all of the management staff have been with the company 10-15 years plus so can demonstrate this is business that promotes from within. If you're successful in this role, you could expect to be a contracts manager in the next 2-3 years.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience of working for a main contractor as a site manager. This could be working on schools, hospitals, industrial or a wide range of sectors but it would be preferential if you have steel frame building experience. However, if you don't quite have that site manager experience, feel free to pick up the phone to the Birmingham office to see if there's any other roles suitable.
To apply to this Site Manager role, simply send your CV over for review or call Randstad Birmingham office now.
