U-Educate work with an inclusive, nurturing school looking for the right person to join their school as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, supporting a child with additional needs.
The successful candidate will be required to support a child with additional emotional and social needs, in order to enable them to fully access the teaching and learning, and to develop both academic and social skills. A trusting, positive relationship will be essential in ensuring the best progress so the successful candidate will need an enthusiastic and nurturing approach. You will have high expectations of learning of both self and others, and passionately believe that every child can achieve and reach their potential. At times this will include working with groups of children under the guidance of the Class Teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator. We are particularly looking for someone who:
· Has experience of working with children with additional needs.
· Has creativity and problem-solving skills, is flexible and inventive.
· Has the enthusiasm and initiative to create fun learning experiences.
