We are a leading international kindergarten and a team of dedicated leaders, educators and learners. We pride ourselves in creating a space that encourages our students to learn and grow naturally. We are now holding interviews for motivated, dedicated kindergarten teachers to join us.
Our kindergartens have been operating in Beijing since 2004, with have four campuses in Beijing and one campus in Wuhan. Our vision is to give our students the experience they need to become caring, life-long learners and competent and confident individuals in a changing world. We seek to achieve this goal by providing a holistic education through English immersion in which we create a natural and caring environment that allows each student to develop to their full potential. We encourage students to foster creativity by introducing various themes, teaching them about the world and environment, and inspiring them to move, sing, dance, and play. With our growing number of students, we need talented, experienced and creative individuals to join our existing team of outstanding teachers.
Our Day School teachers expose each student to a wide assortment of activities that allow them to become active participants in their learning journey. Using Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory as the backbone of our curriculum, we tailor our lessons to support each child’s unique abilities and special talents through the different smarts.
Students who come to the school are between the ages of 2 to 6 years old. Each teacher has their own class they stay with for the entire year with a maximum of 18 students in the class. Along with our Chinese Teacher assistants and daily life teachers, teachers engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.
Beijing, capital of the People’s Republic of China, is the nation’s political, economic, cultural, educational and international trade and communication center. Located in northern China, close to the port city of Tianjin and partially surrounded by Hebei province, Beijing continues to be an exciting place for all things music, fashion and art with plenty of events and shows to attend.
There is a thriving expat community in Beijing, with the Sanlitun area being a popular destination for both expats and trendy locals to mix and mingle over drinks. One of the most important landmarks in the city is Tiananmen Square. This is the world’s largest public square and a must see for all visitors from abroad and from other places in China.
Located right on the mighty Yangtze River east of Shanghai, Wuhan is a fascinating city with both an ancient history and a thriving present. For centuries, this city has been the center of trade and transportation in central China but is now known as one of China’s main high-tech, education and financial centers, while still having a more traditional feel than some of China’s coastal cities.
Wuhan is the place to find both history and natural wonders. Hubei Provincial Museum and Yellow Crane Tower are two places to appreciate ancient Chinese history and culture. Wuhan was also the location of one of Chairman Mao Zedong’s private residences which he nicknamed the ‘Home of the White Clouds and Yellow Cranes’ and also where he gave audience to President Richard Nixon.
-Student age: 2 to 6 years old
-Class size: no more than 18 students with a teaching assistant in each class
-Homeroom teacher: Monday to Friday classes: 8:30am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 5:30pm (weekends off)
-Course materials are all in place so lesson planning is minimal
-Conduct classes that are fun and engaging
-Communicate with parents and fellow teachers regarding the students’ progress
-Excellent salary: 28,000 – 30,000 RMB per month including housing allowance, after tax (depending on qualifications, experience, location)
-Airfare reimbursement: up to 4,000 RMB
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-Visa costs covered by school
-Up to 7 nights hotel allowance for relocated teachers
-Lunch provided during workdays
-Health insurance provided
-Up to 8,000 RMB annual bonus based on performance
-Annual salary increase
-Up to 10,000 RMB tuition allowance for teachers to study
-Holidays: all the Chinese National Holidays are paid, 6 personal days per year, one day off on Christmas and 3 weeks off for Spring Festival
-10 days paid summer vacation for the second year contract, way up to full paid 5 weeks summer vacation
-Staff team building activities including KTV, BBQ dinners and sightseeing tours
-On-boarding training and on-going training provided
-Native English speaker from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
-Non-native speakers with fluent English and clear accent already in China can be considered
-Bachelor’s degree (in English, ESL, Education is preferred)
-120 hour TEFL certificate (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL
-2 years of post-graduation work experience in any area
-Clean, non-criminal background check
-Flexible, fun, friendly, creative and able to work well in a team
