Special Needs Classroom Assistant

We are looking for a Special Needs Classroom Assistant to work full time in our client school in Ystrad Mynach. As a Special Needs Classroom Assistant you will work with students with additional needs including mainly Autism, and Behavioural Needs supporting them during the school day.

Hourly rate: £12.30

Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm

We are looking for a Special Needs Classroom Assistant that will be based in a small primary class part of a large ALN school in Ystrad Mynach. The learners are working to KS2 level so we are looking for a Special Needs Classroom Assistant that is creative and can work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal Special Needs Classroom Assistant should have experience supporting people with additional needs whether this is personal or professional. Although you will be mainly working with learners with ASD, the school caters to learners with a range of additional needs including Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairments, Social, emotional and Mental Health and Behavioural Needs so varied experience with additional needs is great.

We are looking for someone committed to a full-time role and perm contracts are available for those performing well!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
