Design and Innovate: Truck Body Specialist Sought (North West)

Opening:

Join a growing, established company in the North West and make your mark on the commercial vehicle industry! We're searching for a talented Design/CAD Engineer to play a vital role in pushing our boundaries and improving our already impressive fleet of 300+ truck bodies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and refine existing truck body drawings, focusing on the subframe upwards.
• Utilize your CAD expertise to optimize designs for functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to bring innovative concepts to life.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving our design standards and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD software.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in design and drafting, ideally within the commercial vehicle industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (other design packages a plus).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
