Job description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are working closely with a school in Hackney for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience. The role is a general Teaching Assistant role but the right candidate must have valid SEN experience. This 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated school provides a friendly, supportive and purposeful school community.

Role:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a general teaching assistant
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized learning plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Work across all year groups in the school

Requirements:

• Recent experience working with students with SEN in either mainstream or SEN school settings is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to provide professional references from previous SEN roles
• Preferably a male teaching assistant
• Passion for promoting inclusive education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
