Emerging Futures works across the country to support people affected by homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.
We’re recruiting for a Team Leader to work across our Female Recovery Enhanced Supported Housing (FRESH) project.
Our recovery houses provide support and a stable home for people to make the necessary changes to their lives to move towards independent, healthy living. FRESH is a new project which provides a safe space for women to begin their addiction recovery and behaviour change journey.
Many of our FRESH residents are victims/survivors of domestic violence from male perpetrators, and we have established a nurturing and homely environment built on empathy, trust, and a shared understanding of each other’s experiences.
The therapeutic programme delivered focuses on these traumatic experiences, so to provide a safe and relaxed therapeutic environment which facilitates recovery, everyone working in this service must be female.
About The Role
As a Team Leader, you will provide strong, visible leadership and direct line management to the team responsible for the delivery of the FRESH project. You will take responsibility for the overall management of the tenancy, recovery and wellbeing support provided to the residents within our supported housing.
The post holder will also work to strengthen external partnerships with community agencies and resources, including other supported housing providers, health and treatment agencies and blue light services.
About you
You will have some experience working in a management role or leading a team, but we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.
You are compassionate and committed to improving the health and wellbeing of those experiencing trauma.
The role supports people with challenging complex needs, so patience and resilience come naturally to you. You will have good interpersonal and listening skills and ideally have experience in supporting women with specialist needs such as trauma, substance misuse, or domestic abuse.
Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives
To apply for the role, submit your CV, along with a cover letter to [email protected].
