The Discovery is located a stone's throw away from Roath Park Cardiff and offers traditional pub grub from a full Welsh breakfast to a Sunday carvery.
We're currently seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to
lead our kitchen team and contribute to our unforgettable dining experience.
What's the Role?
As the Head Chef at The Discovery, your day will be as varied and dynamic as our menu:
- Leading food preparation and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Planning and updating the menu in collaboration with management
- Coordinating the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Overseeing cleaning and sterilizing practices
- Providing assistance and guidance to kitchen staff
- Managing time effectively to meet service deadlines
- Upholding the highest standards of safety and hygiene
This position requires full-time commitment with shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, when our venue truly comes to life.

Essential Information

- Salaries starting from £34,000 per year
- Position located in just outside Cardiff City Centre
