Aftercare/Maintenance Manager role
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Aftercare period on new build properties on a volume housing development based in the South Lakes.
Duties to include:
" Managing the 7-day defect period once tenants have moved into properties
" Managing defects, ensuring all Operatives and relevant trades carry out the works within a timely manner.
" Closing jobs with all relevant trades and advising the Customer Care team
" Quality inspections & audit of teams performance of their day to day activities.
" Ensuring all client snag lists are closed within a timely manner and all follow- on works completed.
" Ordering of materials.
" Updating and liaising with the Customer care Co Ordinator's to ensure a smooth running of the department.
" Carrying out quality inspections with the customers.
" Attending to any complaints with the Customer Care Manager and providing an action plan to resolve the issue.
" Attend site meetings to update on customer care works.
This role requires an individual with a "hands on" approach who will take control of the outstanding customer care issues ensuring remedial works have been completed in a timely manner. Skills required:
" Strong communication and listening skills.
" Highly motivated and enthusiastic
" Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
" Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
" Good knowledge of multi trades, including joinery, plastering, bricklaying, basic plumbing
" Knowledge of building tolerances
" Excellent customer service skills
The company are offering a basic salary around £30-35k with a car allowance, pension a company bonus scheme.
