Job description
Work in all sections of the department and take personal responsibility that work is carried out in asafe environment and in a timely fashionWhen required, cover the day-to-day duties of Chief or Senior Technicians when rotating through the sectionseg prepare orders, source alternate supplies of medicines, be the point of contact for drug recalls etc in theabsence of the Chief Technician. Be able to assess the ongoing situation in any section of the department and ensure thatworkflow is efficient and staff are effectively deployed. Observe standard operating procedures (SOPs) in every section of the rotation. Apply problem-solving skills to resolve day to day problems Contribute to the development of section/speciality policies and procedures by identifying variationsin standards of work practice and implement agreed changes as required. Undertake CPD activities and training in all sections and specialities within the Pharmacydepartment through the rotation. Work proactively to avoid errors, complaints and incidents and to deal with them whenrequired. Oversee, supervise and check the work of others in formal and informal circumstances (ieAccreditation checking)
