Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 gross per annum
Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidays
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Required: Generally, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. When boys home from boarding school, work Saturday, but take a different day off in the work. Occasional weekend work, if guests visiting.
Driver: Prefer driver, but not essential
Live in Accommodation: Studio flat/annex with separate kitchen and bathroom. Fully furnished to high standard
Summary
This is a lovely, Live in Housekeeper role working for a family in Oxshott. They live in a 4 floor, 6-bedroom home with indoor pool. The property has many high-end finishes that need to be looked after very carefully, using the right products.
Duties will include:
All care and cleaning of home
Laundry and ironing.
Cleaning kitchen after dinner
Watering garden in summer.
Monitoring house and raising issues with family and/or maintenance manager
if able to drive, picking up food and dry cleaning etc
This role will suit you if you are an experienced Housekeeper who is used to work in luxury homes. The high-end nature of the house requires regular inspection so that a high standard can be maintained. You will be someone who is happy to follow instructions but able to think on your feet. It is important that you are happy to work within the flow of family life and recognise that there is less work whilst the boys are away, but things get busy, when they are home. You will be happy to help when there is urgent work and to be mindful of family's private time.
