Job description
Our client is a well-established civil contractor who has a requirement for a Civil Designer to join their growing team on a contract basis.
Some of the key duties for this role include:
- Modelling civils works and foundations to equipment layouts and models and site sketches.
- Creating RC details.
- Develop BOMs at FEED and procurement stages.
- Produce Layouts and GA’s.
- Drive model reviews and have an ability to create and keep up to date, the federated model when Civil & Structural is the lead discipline.
- Site Survey’s – ability to undertake detailed site surveys of existing works.
Requirements
Skills:
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Recap
- Navisworks Manage
- Knowledge of UK building regulations
Other advantageous abilities:
- Understanding of drainage design
- Laser scanning & stitching of point clouds to assist our survey team
- Architectural details
Qualifications & Certifications:
• HNC in a related engineering discipline as a minimum
