The OPRA Group has a great opportunity for a Project Manager-Finance Systems.
Colchester City Council (CCC) and Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) are undertaking a project to replace outdated and fragmented finance systems with a new cloud-based system. The new platform will enable improved efficiency, accuracy, and financial oversight across the councils. This is a 6-month Temporary hybrid role but is likely to be extended to 12 months. Role Duties: This project is to deliver a shared finance system across two District Councils to meet the desired business outcomes of the programme and project, by working with and bringing together stakeholders across these 2 organisations, as well as Braintree District Council. This is a hybrid role, and you will be required to attend and run meetings at Epping Civic offices and Rowan House, Colchester, as well as attend the offices and/or meet colleagues regularly to build relationships with colleagues in this period of change. On-site requirements are expected to be infrequent and may fluctuate to accommodate the availability of others. We will be happy to discuss this further at interview.
