Here you'll be leading the NPD function for a key food manufacturing site. Owning the NPD process, from concept to launch, your team will develop innovative products for retail customers. You'll be involved in developing new product ranges at this site as it invests in new capabilities, along with EPD projects on the existing product portfolio. You'll ensure all projects follow the critical path and meet customer requirements, having robust processes in place. A key element of this NPD Manager role is developing the junior team members. They have huge potential and need a supportive leader to provide guidance, targeted objectives, and clear progression plans. It would suit someone who enjoys nurturing talent and has a track record in doing so. To succeed in the role, you'll need proven experience in successful product launches for retail customers. A passion for food and awareness of the latest food trends; along with the ability to translate these into commercially successful new concepts. You'll be great at forming positive working relationships across all functions at site and ensuring the NPD team has a high profile and great reputation with the senior leadership team. Whilst you'll lead the NPD function at site, you'll be supported by the wider group NPD function. It's a well-resourced and collaborative team with excellent talent from the industry.
